OKEEHEELEE PARK - The Palm Beach County Gator Club Softball Team rallied behind Mike Friters bases clearing inside the park homerun in the sixth inning to beat Landshark 7-6 Friday night in a thriller. The Gators (1-0) "chomped" down in the seventh inning to prevent the Landsharks (0-1) from making a comeback during their last at bat. Next game is this Friday (8/20/2010) at 8:00 p.m. against McKenna's Eagle Grill.

Game Tidbits:

•      Glenn Brown and Marty Usatch combined to pitch a great game limiting Landshark to only two walks on the night.

•      Kenny Richardson teamed up with Jimmy Reed to complete two double plays on the night.

•      Shannon Discount and Kenny Richardson executed a force out at third base to end the game.
